When not signed in, usage data is collected without being linked to your identity. When signed in, collected data may be associated with your account to provide personalized features such as saved locations and synced preferences.

3. Tools and Services Used

• PostHog: Used for product analytics. When a user is signed in, PostHog may associate usage events with their email address. No sensitive personal data (such as name, address, or payment information) is collected. Data is used solely for performance monitoring and feature development.

• Supabase: Used for authentication and running background edge functions. Account data (email, login metadata) is securely handled through Supabase Auth and not used for any purpose beyond providing account-related features.

• AnalyticsWP: Our website uses AnalyticsWP to collect anonymized traffic data. No personal information is collected or stored through this service.

4. Cookies
   The Classical Forecast website may use basic cookies to improve website functionality and analyze aggregate usage. These are not used for advertising or behavioral tracking. Users can disable cookies in their browser settings.

5. Data Retention

• Usage and analytics data is retained only as long as needed for improving service performance and planning.

• Account-related information (email, saved settings) is retained while the account is active and securely deleted upon user request.

6. Data Sharing
   We do not sell, rent, or share personal or usage data with third parties. Data is only processed by trusted infrastructure providers (such as Supabase and PostHog) strictly for the purposes outlined in this policy.
